The 2006 Strawberry Festival Parade

Our Student Scholarship Awards is an extremely worthwhile endeavor by our members to aid the graduating seniors in the GGUSD with a monetary award for school expenses. Ten awards are given out each year. 2006's recipients were invited to join the Garden Grove Fire Department and ride on one of their fire trucks in the Garden Grove Stawberry Festival Parade.

November 2005

Our Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon features our members as models. Our members also run the silent auction and other designated duties to help make this event a success. The funds generated are deposited into an account for Student Awards that are given to the graduating seniors of the Garden Grove Unified School District. This year we were honored with representatives from our US Military, and the Garden Grove Police Department.

Thirty-five City-based organizations contributed a square with their logo either sewn, embroidered, cross-stitched, painted or a computerized photo on it. These were then stitched together by a group of quilting enthusiasts. This was prestented to Mayor Bruce Broadwater at the City's Annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast on January 22, 2004.
